Combining Heritage with Contemporary Architecture at our Roseville Project

Settled in the leafy suburb of Roseville, on the outside this property is a picturesque heritage home. We were delighted to find that upon stepping through inside, you’re met with an architectural masterpiece. Designed by the talented Justin Loe from StudioJLA Architects, the attention to detail in this home has to be applauded.

Walking in, the natural timber flooring elevates this already light-filled home. The first thing you see is the fireplace which is wrapped in Bianco Carrara Marble from SNB Stone. Sourced from the Carrara region of Italy, this marble is for lovers of honed or polished white-grey stones. Prized throughout history for its greyish hues and striking veins, it adds a level of sophistication to any space and this home is no exception.

Moving outdoors, we see our Silver French Pattern Limestone tiles. These tiles give a subtle nod to the character and charm of the area. This stone has been executed perfectly by the team at M&PG Projects, the pattern continues down the stairs which is a real show of workmanship.

During our consultation with this client, Jonathan insisted that they should make the downstairs powder room a feature. We're so glad our client came on board with the suggestion, this bathroom is really beautiful. We love the continuation of the Carrara marble into this room, and the link back to the heritage of the home with the decorative molding.

The bathrooms in this home feature our Kit Kat Finger Mosaics in 'Antique White' which run floor to ceiling, and compliment our Wide series tiles in 'Lead'. Our exclusive Wide series has been manufactured to mimic stucco, their matte textured surface works beautifully against the other elements in these rooms. This home features Faucet Strommen tap ware in Rose Gold and Matte Black.

We really enjoyed walking through this property, it was a great effort from the team and suppliers involved. See Jonathan walk through the property (and lose a game of tennis) in our walkthrough video below.
